Tickets released for May 5th open day!

April 15, 2018

Tickets are now on sale for our open day on May 5th. General open day tickets are available on the below link:

https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/may-lock-up-open-day-tickets-45133207639

These tickets are £5 for adults and £3.50 for children 5-12 (under 5's are free). The ticket gets you an hour and a half to explore the site, see some of our Victorian prisoner mugshots, try on some uniform, find out more about our museum collection and we offer fingerprinting and a treasure hunt for our younger guests.

Charlie Shelby from Peaky Blinders visited us on our last open day but PC Chloe soon locked him away!

Tickets are also available for our popular evening tour, when you can hear mini talks about the history of the Lock-up and Victorian policing, and find out more about the last public hanging in Birmingham - as well as what policing was like in Birmingham in the 1950s.

Tickets are £10 for 2 hours - available here:
