With less than 5 weeks to go before the National Lottery Heritage Fund decision on the funding for the Lock-up project, we have a full schedule of events planned for the coming months! If we are successful with our application we aim to close the building by the end of July for building works to take place, so this could be one of your last chances to visit the building as it is now.
Open days have been planned up to and including July, these being:
Sat Feb 8th
Sat March 7th
Sat April 4th
Sat May 2nd
Sat June 6th
Sat July 4th
There will be evening history talks on each of these days, currently planned are:
Feb - The history of the Special Constabulary
March - 20th Century Crime Detection
April - Jack the Ripper - Chief Inspector Swanson & Scotland Yard's Primer Suspect
Tickets for all of the above are available on the events page of the website: www.wmpeelers.com/the-lock-up
Carl Chinn will be doing another Real Peaky Blinders talk in June (tickets will be advertised via the website when they go on sale) and we are still taking bookings for group visits, schools, corporate events and ghost hunts. Please drop us a e-mail at Museum@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk for any enquiries.
