As the December evening tour has now sold out within a few days of tickets being put up for sale, we have now released tickets for January's evening tour as well. This tour will be on Saturday 12th January from 5-7pm and includes a chance to look round the building, see our women in policing display and browse our shop to support our fundraising after the talk.
The talk in January will be focused on the history of women in policing, building on the centenary celebrations that took place in 2017 after 100 years of female officers in the West Midlands.
We look at the stories of the inspiring pioneers who paved the way for all those who followed, allowing women to do everything they can do today in the police service. We also look at the role women played in policing during World War Two and more recent developments.
Steve Rice and Corinne Brazier deliver this talk, based upon their book A Fair Cop which will also be for sale - raising money for women's charities around the West Midlands.
