Tickets for the last open day of the year have been released, come and join us for a festive themed event on the 8th December! We will have some Christmas goodies for sale, the usual fingerprinting, uniform to try on, the history quiz and the museum display, as well as our Women in Policing display and the memorial boards commemorating the 143 officers who joined the Forces from the West Midlands during WW1 and WW2 and died as a result of the conflict.
Our evening talk this month is 2 x 30 min talks - one by local historian Kay Hunter on Capital Punishment and one by retired officer Jim Pointon about policing Birmingham in the 1960s. Two excellent and very well informed speakers, both thoroughly entertaining.
