Project Update & Fundraising

We have made significant progress over the last month on the Heritage Project. We are pleased to announce that we have appointed Campbell & Co as our heritage interpretation consultants, Lathams as our heritage architects and QODA as our mechanical and electrical engineers, to take us up to the submission of the Round 2 Heritage Lottery Funding bid, which we are hoping to submit early next year.

They all come with significant experience in their field and we are very excited to have them on board to help us shape the future of the West Midlands Police Museum.

We also have a number of fundraising initiatives we are trialling over the next few months:

- On October 25th we will be hosting a history quiz. We are inviting teams of 3-6 people (£6 per person) to come and find all the questions all the cells and fight for the chance to be crowned the first ever Lock-up Quiz winners! The quiz will take place from 6-8pm, tea, coffee, squash and biscuits will be provided and there will be a chance to visit our shop to support our fundraising. To enter your team please e-mail

- On the 8th and 9th of February 2019 we will be hosting a lock-in from 7pm until 7am. Participants are asked to raise £250 in sponsorship to spend the night at the Lock-up with the money raised being split between the Heritage Project and Care of Police Survivors (COPS). To secure your place please e-mail (if you can't think of anything worse than spending a night in the cells, please consider making a donation to the fundraiser at you can donate to the overall event or via a specific participant's fundraising page)
