July Open Day and Capital Punishment Talk
After the success of our June open day, tickets are now on sale for July 14th! Tickets are available for 10:00, 11:30, 13:00 and 14:30 with LOTS for kids to do and more items added to our museum display and on the history of the Lock-up and policing in the area.

For July our evening tour will feature a full length talk by local historian Kay Hunter on the history of capital punishment as well the story of the last public hanging in Birmingham. There will also be a chance to wander round the building, see inside the cells and see some of the prisoner records dotted around the building, as well as the chance to visit our Lock-up shop to support our fundraising to relocate the West Midlands Police Museum to the Lock-up.
