Open Day at Canterbury Road Police Station

Our next Hidden Spaces event is in Perry Barr next Friday!

For one day only the public will be allowed access to Canterbury Road Police Station before it is sold as part of essential estate rationalisation plans, needed to redirect expensive running and maintenance costs back into frontline policing. This building has supported policing in Birmingham since 1904.

On Friday 24th November from 10-6 the public will have the chance to come and see inside this iconic station, see some items from our police museum and Victorian prisoner records and browse our little shop.

Tickets are £5 with all money raised going towards the West Midlands Police Heritage Project, which hopes to open a permanent museum at the Birmingham Central Lock-up.
